your personal space. To be one of just 320 guests aboard this
elegant ship is to enjoy the ultimate luxury - privacy. There

The Paul Gauguin is ultra-deluxe in every respect. And the
sense of spaciousness is no illusion - the ship has one of the
highest space per guest ratios in cruising.
If genius is in the details, then staterooms are of a
particularly inspired variety. All staterooms and suites have
sweeping ocean views. Half offer private balconies or
verandahs. Furniture and cabinetry feature rich pearwood,
cherry and mahogany, flawlessly shaped and joined by skilled
French cabinetmakers. A loveseat beckons you to sit for a
while and gaze through your window, watch a recent release on
your VCR or partake of the beverages stored in
refrigerator/bar, cunningly hidden in a beautifully crafted
marquetry cabinet.
Baths sparkle in gleaming chrome and white marble. A cotton
bathrobe, hand milled soaps and toiletries await your
pleasure. Fabrics and hangings are of the finest natural
fibers, softly woven and sumptuous to the touch. In a mirrored
niche, a stone Tiki stands over your private abode. And at
night, a fragrant Tiare flower is placed on your pillow, its
sweet scent wafting you to pleasant dreams. It is an
environment calculated to soothe and satisfy body and soul.
