SEVEN SEAS MARINER
Activities and Services

The new, 700-guest m/s Seven Seas Mariner, which sailed her inaugural voyage in March 2001, is the world's first all-suite, all-balcony ship. The 50,000-ton vessel offers worldwide itineraries, accommodating her guests in 354 luxurious ocean-view suites, of 301 to 1,580 square feet, with private balconies. The Seven Seas Mariner boasts the 100-seat "Signatures," Le Cordon Bleu's first and only permanent restaurant-at-sea; exclusive Le Cordon Bleu Classe Culinaire des Croísières workshops offered to guests on select cruises; four dining venues with the main dining room offering single, open seating; an exclusive Judith Jackson Sea Spa featuring specially trained therapists skilled in Jackson's celebrated aromatherapy; "Club.com," an 18-computer Internet café and classroom; and Mermaid* pod propulsion systems for virtually vibration-free cruising.

ACTIVITIES and SERVICES

Guests on the Seven Seas Navigator, the Mariner's predecessor, have consistently lauded our exclusive Judith Jackson Spa as one of their favorite spas on land or sea. The tradition continues on the Mariner. Under the gentle skilled hands of specially trained Judith Jackson therapists, you'll find relief from everyday aches and pains, while equally talented beauty technicians smooth away cares and unwanted wrinkles. Thalassotherapy, aromatherapy, massage, steam room and sauna facilities as well as a full range of beauty and grooming services are just a few of the treatments offered amid the most soothing surroundings imaginable.

The adjoining Fitness Center features all the latest gym equipment with treadmills, rowers, cycles, free weights and weight machines. There's also a separate aerobics room, and the spectacular views through the floor-to-ceiling windows are as invigorating as any workout.

A jogging track and sports deck with golf cages and paddle tennis provide outdoor exercise options. The previously mentioned swimming pool area, surrounded by three whirlpools and broad teak decks, is the perfect place to cool off after your workout, socialize with friends or simply relax in a deck chair and catch up on your reading.

A card room, a conference room, and a well-stocked library with an excellent selection of best-selling books and videos, magazines, art books, field guides and reference works are available for guests 24 hours a day. And every afternoon, be sure to drop by the Observation Lounge, high above the ship, where you can take High Tea with scrumptious fresh-baked scones and clotted cream, or just take in the eye-filling wrap-around views.

Let yourself imagine, for a moment, what a typical evening might bring aboard the Mariner. In the Constellation Theater, you are swept up in a dazzling presentation of musical theatrics that takes you for a rollercoaster ride through Broadway, Big Band and contemporary hits, ranging from the nostalgia of Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Duke Ellington and Richard Rogers to today's electric, eclectic music makers.

The Casino offers a wide choice of games of chance, ranging from slots and video poker to roulette, craps and blackjack. In the Stars Nightclub, a chanteuse sings of love lost and found. A band plays a medley of your favorite dance tunes and couples sway to "Embraceable You." If you are partnerless, one of our gentleman hosts will be honored to spin you around the dance floor. Up on the pool deck, another lively band has inspired an impromptu jitterbug contest - with some of the younger guests substituting a few hip-hop moves.

The Connoisseur Club might be your final destination tonight, or it could be the first. In an atmosphere reminiscent of a venerable London Club, expansive leather armchairs invite you to relax, savor a martini or brandy and the quiet enjoyment that good company among friends brings. Cigar aficionados can check the climate-controlled humidors to purchase their special smoke.

Not all of the entertainment takes place at night. Many repeat guests tell us that their favorite "show" on a voyage aboard Regent Seven Seas Cruises is their guest lecturer program. For those who seek a greater understanding of the world, their guest lecturers add immeasurably to the cruise experience. Each cruise offers at least one, and sometimes several lecturers. You may meet with former diplomats, historians, anthropologists or naturalists chosen for their expertise in the areas your ship visits. Lecturers brief guests before each port and on certain occasions will lead special shore excursions. Aboard the Mariner, they will also feature appearances by eminent celebrity guests - accomplished writers, musical artists and lifestyle exemplars whose special insights will be of interest to guests. With thought-provoking events such as these, it is their hope that your voyage on the Seven Seas Mariner will rise beyond mere cruising to reveal a newly fascinating and enlightening view of the people and places of this earth.
